Role: Software Development Engineer

Our team at WallyLabs is looking for a Software Development Engineer with Web development experience in Seattle, WA. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying web applications. Strive to create visually appealing UI that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. An ideal candidate would have some experience in mobile app development or willing to learn and work on mobile apps.

Role Responsibilities

  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple applications and products.
  • Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON and REST API’s.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
  • Experience in building complex, role based UI applications (such as dashboards)
  • Experience in agile software development environment with continuous integration and delivery
  • Focus on Test Driven Development and quality

Role Requirements

  • 3+ Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript to build marketing and e-commerce websites
  • 3+ Strong in front end web development using NodeJS,AngularJS or similar technologies
  • 3+ Experience in building SPA web apps, with responsive design and REST API’s
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem
  • A Bachelor degree

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile app development
