Role: Senior Product Manager

Our team at WallyLabs is looking for a Senior Product Manager with a mix of hardware and software product management experience in Seattle, WA. The role is responsible for creating and evangelizing a roadmap supporting business priorities, writing business requirements, and working with the technical teams to build valuable features and future products. An ideal candidate would have experience in hardware and software including embedded systems, cloud technologies, and mobile apps.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develops the product roadmap in support of the overall business vision and strategic direction.
  • Works with the General Manager and leadership team to prioritize features, improvements, and new products.
  • Provides cross-functional product leadership to UX, Design, Development, Sales, and Support teams to deliver products and features in a timely fashion.
  • Focuses on the details, clarity, and completeness of product requirements and ensures all appropriate teams understand them.
  • Maintains a list of features and ensures sales and marketing material reflect changes to those features.
  • Utilizes agile development processes with a focus on improvement to those processes.
  • Maintains awareness of competitive and industry trends and can speak to how Wally is differentiated in our market space.
  • Shows a bias for action and contributes positively to the morale of the team.

Role Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management for an e-commerce, transaction-based, retail, or similar with experience in shipping multiple products
  • Proven track record contributing to the development, testing, and launching of customer-facing features in an agile environment
  • Experience working with UX and design team members
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of the differences between hardware and software product management
  • Bachelors degree

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience launching both hardware and software products
  • Experience defining product strategy
  • Experience in front of customers in support of sales efforts
